Summer Berry Green Smoothy Recipe



  • 1 peeled lemon  (frozen is good and easy)
  • 3 handfuls of greens -  my choice – mint,   Lebanese cucumber  (peeled for those with a touchy gut), baby spinach leaves, kale
  • 1/2 cup berries -  blueberries/raspberries/strawberries  (check out your freezer section at the local supermarket, organic is best)
  • Cube of raw beetroot (keep in freezer for easy access)
  • Filtered water -2 cups


  • Gather ingredients, wash, blend
  • Drink slowly so digestion in the mouth can happen
  • Know that you have treated your stomach, liver and all the cells in your body with a delicious dose of enzymes, vitamins, minerals and fibre
